Dr. Abdal Fattah El- Awaisi Professor of The University of Ankara Social Sciences at the Faculty of Political Sciences, was a guest at Reyhanlı Education Village and held a conference. Continuing his work in Türkiye, El- Awasi discussed and evaluated the international relations and the crisis in the middle east during the conference named “Beytülmakdis ve Kudüs Davamız”.

“Baitulmaqdis is the symbol of barakah (blessings). Baitulmaqdis is my life. I opened my eyes to life there. I grew up with the love of the land. This love pushed me to study knowledge. Makkah is the symbol of guidance, Madina is Mercy and Baitulmaqdis is blessings. This is not only a sacred place for Palestinians, but also a holy place for the ummah.” Dr. Abd Al- Fattah El- Awaisi also added the following:

“During my studies in the UK on the governments in the Middle East, I learnt that when Palestine is free, Syria and Egypt are also free. It’s important to understand the connection between these 3 countries. Without a free Syria and Egypt, there is no free Baitul Maqdis. At the moment we are in the darkest days of Syria. There is light at the end of the tunnel for the holy land of Damascus. It will be free by seeking knowledge and political processes. Today the Muslims mind is under oppression, before we free the land, we need to free our minds.” The conference was met will attention and was attended by the workers of Reyhanlı Education Village and workers of other NGo’s in the area.
