Winter Project

Winter Aid Project: Warmth Beyond the Cold

Winter can bring about a range of challenges that adversely affect daily life. Illnesses caused by cold weather, heating issues, difficulties faced by children in reaching their schools, disruptions in education, and inadequate nutrition are just some of the problems families experience during this season.

"Warmth of Love Cannot Be Defeated by Cold"

This project, aimed at alleviating the burdens of orphaned families facing harsh winter conditions, is built around providing firewood and clothing. Due to varying climatic conditions in different countries, the project runs from November to February. As part of the project, we have categorized the items to be distributed into two main groups: clothing and heating materials. Clothing includes winter essentials such as coats, sweaters, skirts, trousers, scarves, hats, gloves, socks, boots, shoes, and other season-appropriate wear. For heating, we provide coal, wood, natural gas, and diesel. Depending on the region's specific needs, we may also distribute electric stoves, wood-burning stoves, blankets, duvets, pillows, and mattresses to ensure a warmer winter.

These products are distributed based on the local purchasing cost, the specific needs of the area, as well as geographical conditions and priority of need.Project's Purpose and ScopeThe primary objective of this project is to support low-income families unable to provide heating, refugees who must endure harsh winter conditions in tents, and mothers raising orphaned children alone. We aim to improve their living conditions and ensure they experience a warm winter.

Our goal is to reach 25,000 orphaned children across 15 countries.

 Countries Reached

When selecting the countries and regions for this winter aid project, priority is given to areas with the greatest need. Countries affected by natural disasters, suffering from hunger and drought, or enduring war and crisis are prioritized. As a result, the project is implemented in 15 countries: Turkey, Afghanistan, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraq, Iran, Montenegro, Libya, Lebanon, Palestine, Nepal, Pakistan, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen.

In international operations, we work with our partner organizations to identify the needs, gather demographic data such as age and gender, and plan the aid distribution accordingly.

In-kind donations are welcomed, provided they are relevant to the needs specified in the project. The items listed above, including heating materials and clothing, can be directly donated.

Additionally, Zakat donations are also accepted for this project.
