Reyhanlı Psychosocial Support and Application Center

The Reyhanlı Psychosocial Support and Application Center, established to serve Syrian refugee widowed mothers, orphans, and unaccompanied children who are victims of war, has been operating in Hatay since 2017. The center develops programs tailored to the needs of children to help them integrate into society and overcome the trauma they have experienced. Additionally, various workshops are held to enhance the psychosocial, physical, and vocational aspects of both children and their mothers.

Among the activities offered are a textile and design workshop to support the vocational development of widowed mothers, a visual arts workshop aimed at discovering children’s talents and enriching their imagination, a robotics and coding workshop to guide children in developing their technical skills, and a mind games workshop that supports the intellectual and cognitive development of orphaned children. Similar to the Psychosocial Support and Application Center in Istanbul, the Reyhanlı center is staffed by a dedicated and dynamic team of psychologists, social workers, translators, art instructors, and volunteers.
