Orphan Sponsorship Support System

In today's world millions of children become orphans due to war, natural disasters, hunger, famine, accidents, and diseases. Nearly half of orphans are deprived from family or institutional protection. The support of governments and NGO's are significant but quite insufficient to reach the huge orphan population.

Our work on orphans that has been continuing since 2017, was upgraded in April 2021 with the implementation of the Sponsor Support System. We aim to support the orphan’s food, clothing, health, education, and shelter expenses through regular donations made in the system, which aims to protect orphans financially. 

The monthly sponsorship fee of one orphan is 600 TL.

A person who would like to support an orphan in one of the countries in which our foundation carries out the orphan project in, should: 

1. Fill out the Orphan Sponsorship Application Form on our website.
2. The duration of sponsorship of an orphan should at least be one year. Our donors can make automatic payments through our website for up to 36 months. When the period expires, they can extend their sponsorship again for any period they wish. We hope that the donors will continue their support until the sponsored orphan completes their university education.
3. Our donors who apply for orphan sponsorship can pay the sponsorship fee online, as well as by giving auto payment instructions with credit cards, through their bank accounts, by a postal cheque account or also by visiting our Foundation center and paying in person.
4. Upon the first payment, the Information of the orphan (name, date of birth, date of father's death, the number of siblings, country and photo) is sent to the mail address provided in the form.
5. Our donors can also find information about the orphan they sponsor at https://yetimvakfi.org.tr/profile/sponsor.
6. Our orphan sponsors can check any developments, the renewed photographs of the orphan they support, and any letters written to them, through the donor portal.
