This Eid, Yetim Foundation crossed borders and completed their Eid Al- Adha activities with the slogan “We sacrifice for your smile”. Yetim Foundation reached 493.713 people by giving out 8 thousand 673 sacrifices in 24 different countries, including Türkiye and Palestine.

By lending a helping hand to orphans, single parented children and people in need, Yetim Foundation continued to bring joy this Eid. The foundation also gifted 10.145 children in 19 different countries Eid clothes with the help of donors.

This Eid Borders Were Crossed

Yetim Foundation, this year sent their teams to 24 countries just before Eid including Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Burkina Faso, Chad, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Mali, Mauritania, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Togo, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Rakhine, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Türkiye. After the delicate preparations, the slaughtering started from the first day of Eid. 8.673 sacrifices were made and distributed to 493.713 orphans, single parented children, social orphans and their families, orphanages, orphanage centers and to people in need.

The Joy of Eid

Yetim Foundation gifted 10.145 children Eid clothes. With the gifts the joy of Eid was felt in Rohingya Rakhine, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Chad, Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, Lebanon-Palestine Refugee Camp, Mali, Nepal, Sudan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Togo, Tunisia, Ukraine, Yemen, and Türkiye.

Supporting Gaza

Yetim Foundation never forgets their Palestinian brothers and sisters under oppression. The 776 sacrifices are to be given to Gazans under blockade in the form of cans with an expiration date of 2 years. Along with these sacrifices, Eid clothes were also given to 300 children in Gaza.

What We Did Last Year

Within the Eid Al-Adha projects in 2023, Yetim Foundation distributed 6 thousand and 962 sacrifices to 413 thousand 769 people in 20 different countries. Furthermore, Eid clothes were gifted to 6 thousand and 630 orphan children in 18 different countries. Also, within Yetim Foundation’s Kenya Repairing Orphanages Project 191 children were sponsored in 3 different orphanages. Within this project Yetim Foundation also supported 90 children in Mama Rehema Orphanage, 86 in Mama Dhahabu Orphanage and 15 in Abu Hanifa Orphanage.
