 Tons of Explosives from Israel to Gaza

The death toll in Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under blockade, has surpassed 11,180. The occupying forces have struck Palestine with tons of explosives from the air, and 1 million children in Gaza are struggling for survival under the blockade.

In a written statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, it was reported that since Israel’s attacks on Gaza began on October 7, more than 11,180 people have been killed and 28,200 have been injured. In a previous statement, the Ministry had also reported that, in addition to Jerusalem, Palestinian civilians in the West Bank cities of Hebron, Ramallah, Jericho, Nablus, and Qalqilya have been killed by Israeli gunfire since October 7.

ATTACKS THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT

Israeli fighter jets launched airstrikes throughout the night on targets in both the southern and northern parts of the Gaza Strip, resulting in thousands of dead and injured. The home of the Abu Hilal family in Rafah, a city near the Egyptian border in Gaza, was destroyed by Israeli airstrikes. Other houses in the vicinity were severely damaged, and many people were wounded. More than 20 airstrikes targeted homes on Karaman and Naayma streets in the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun, leaving dozens injured.

CIVILIAN SETTLEMENTS TARGETED

According to security sources, an air bombardment on the homes of some families in the Beit Lahya area in the northern part of the city resulted in one death and more than 20 injuries. Israeli fighter jets also targeted a home in the eastern part of the Zeytun neighborhood in southern Gaza. In Khan Yunis, also in southern Gaza, an airstrike on the home of the Abul Amreyn family killed one woman. According to hospital sources in Gaza, Israeli fighter jets targeted the Harare family home in the Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza, injuring seven people.

 CONSECUTİVE REPORT of DEATHS

Israeli fighter jets carried out airstrikes throughout the night on various regions of the Gaza Strip, resulting in 24 deaths. According to hospital and security sources in Gaza, 18 members of the Abu Hilal family in Rafah, a city near the Egyptian border, were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted their home. Injured survivors were pulled from the rubble and taken for treatment.

In the northern part of the same region, air bombardments on some families’ homes in the Beit Lahya area resulted in one death, and over 20 people were injured. In the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis, an airstrike on the Abul Amreyn family’s house killed five people, with many others wounded.

OVER 500 AIRSTRIKES

The Israeli military officially acknowledged carrying out over 500 airstrikes on the Gaza Strip overnight. In a written statement, the Israeli military said, "Throughout the night, fighter jets, helicopters, drones, and artillery targeted more than 500 sites belonging to Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip."

The statement also mentioned that airstrikes had targeted several high-rise buildings, allegedly used by Palestinian groups, and that three tunnels in the Beit Hanoun region had been hit. The Israeli military emphasized that its strikes on Gaza would continue.

7 MOSQUES DESTROYED

Israeli airstrikes have destroyed seven mosques in the Gaza Strip. Fighter jets targeted the El Abbas Mosque in the central Gaza area of al-Rummal with numerous rockets. With the destruction of the El Abbas Mosque in the most recent strike, the number of mosques demolished since October 7 has now risen to seven. Previously, Israeli forces had destroyed the Es-Susi, El-Yarmouk, El-Amin Muhammed, Ahmed Yasin, Muhammed al-Habib, and El-Gharbi mosques in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israel’s intensifying attacks on the Gaza Strip continued without pause.

1,000 TONS of EXPLOSIVES USED

According to a statement from the Israeli military, four airstrikes were carried out on Gaza since last evening, with dozens of fighter jets involved, targeting over 800 locations. The statement highlighted that targets included Hamas sites in Beit Hanoun, infrastructure in the Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza, as well as military infrastructure and a mosque in Jabaliya. It was also pointed out that more than 1,000 tons of explosives and missiles had been used in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since October 7. The statement estimated that hundreds of Palestinians have been killed in these strikes, and dozens of Hamas members who crossed the border into nearby settlements were captured.
