The Report Card Excitement of Syrian Students at the Reyhanlı Education Village in Hatay A total of 990 students at the Reyhanlı Education Village in Hatay received their report cards with the conclusion of the first semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. The Reyhanlı Education Village, located in the Reyhanlı district of Hatay, was established on 100 acres of land to provide education to orphaned and war-affected children who were forced to migrate from Syria due to the ongoing civil war. With the closure of the 2018-2019 academic year, these 990 students, enrolled in the Ebu Ubeyde Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, the International Primary School, and the Kindergarten within the facility, celebrated the culmination of their efforts by receiving their report cards. Hamza Dinçer, the Coordinator of the Reyhanlı Education Village, expressed, "Our students, who are part of the facility we established to cultivate the future of Syria, have received their report cards. It is a moment of great joy for both our students and us. A total of 990 students are currently studying across the three schools within the Reyhanlı Education Village. We hope that our students will make the best use of their holiday period and successfully complete the second semester." Engin Erbatan, the Principal of Ebu Ubeyde Anatolian Imam Hatip High School within the facility, further remarked, "The report card day excited us as much as it did our students. We are thrilled to see the positive results of the four months of dedication and hard work. The facility houses three schools in total. 395 students from Ebu Ubeyde Anatolian Imam Hatip High School received their report cards. In addition, all 990 students across the entire facility successfully completed the first semester." The Reyhanlı Education Village, which was founded during the Ramadan of 2015 by the Qatari aid organizations RAF and IHH, was officially inaugurated with a grand ceremony on May 18, 2017. The educational and administrative operations of the facility are currently managed by the Orphan Foundation.HABERTÜRK
