In our Reyhanlı Education Village in Hatay, where we provide support to war-affected Syrian orphans and their families, 20 orphan mothers have completed their training in the textile and design workshop and received their graduation certificates. Ahmet Talha Tuncer, the Development Activities Coordinator at Yetim Vakfı, shared the following about the training and psychosocial support projects carried out in collaboration with IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, Qatar Raf, and Yetim Vakfı:

"In Reyhanlı Education Village, we continue our educational efforts to help war-affected mothers stand on their own feet. We opened a textile and design workshop to help women acquire skills. Just as we value the importance of war-affected children growing and developing, we also care deeply about their mothers becoming skilled professionals. That’s why we launched a sewing and design course for orphan mothers in the textile and design workshop we set up within the Reyhanlı Education Village. After completing the approximately 4-month training program, 20 orphan mothers who successfully benefited from this course were awarded their graduation certificates. Training activities at our workshop will continue. We are grateful to all the philanthropists who have supported this project."
