Yetim Foundation started a stationary support campaign with the slogan “Ring the Goodness Bell” for the new school and education year. With this project the education needs of orphans, single-parented children and social orphans will be met in 21 countries, starting with the cities in Türkiye afflicted by the earthquake.

Within Yetim Foundation’s educational campaigns, 22 thousand and 530 education kits are being prepared to be given to orphan children in need all around the world. The kits consist of a bag, a pencil case, a notebook set of 8, pencils, a pen, a red pencil, coloring pencils, an eraser, a sharpener, a ruler set, and a water bottle. With these kits the children’s needs of one school year will be met.
The bags are prepared thanks to our donors, and they include surprise gifts. These bags will firstly be given to earthquake survivors. The first distributions will take place between the dates of 28th of August and the 1st of September.
10 thousand School Bags to Be Given to Earthquake Survivors.
Yetim Foundation is to give 2 thousand children in İstanbul stationary kits. Moreover, 4.100 school bags with stationary stuffs will be distributed in Hatay, 1.750 in Adıyaman, 700 in Kahramanmaraş. 700 in Malatya, 700 Gaziantep, 500 in Kilis, 500 in Ankara.
Yetim Foundation will also support 2 thousand children in the cities stricken by the earthquake, with tablets and earphones. The foundation will also gift speaker system to schools in the area. In total 7 thousand and 141 technological items will be delivered.
The stationary and electronic aid to be given within Türkiye in total has a value of 13.5 million Turkish Liras.
The Syrian Orphans Weren’t Forgotten
Meanwhile, Syrian orphans that escaped the civil war have settled in briquette houses in the north of Syria. Education support will be given to 5.00 children in the area and especially in the areas that Yetim Foundation supported: 1.310 to be given in Azeez and 3.690 in İdlib. Also, it is also planned to give 1.310 stationary kits to İhtimlat-1, İhtimlat-2, Kefra ve Tilalin orphan settlements and 420 to Kafra Lusin Camp, 870 to Marmara School, 350 to Istanbul Sitesi, 500 to Selamet, 350 to Binniş, 200 to Ariha, 500 to İdlib Merkez, 500 to Marat Misrin. The aid in Syria has a value of 2.5 million Turkish Liras.
6 thousand and 580 stationary packets will be given to orphaned children in 19 other countries. Within the Stationary Campaign, 500 school bags with stationary kits will be given to Afghanistan and 500 to Arakan refugee camps, 200 to Albania, 80 to Azerbaijan, 300 to Bangladesh, 250 to Bosnia, 250 to Burkina Faso, 250 to Chad, 500 to Palestine, 250 to Iraq, 250 to Iran, 500 to Lebanon, 500 to Lebanon (Palestinian Refugee Camps), 200 to North Macedonia, 250 to Mali, 250 to Somalia, 300 to Sri Lanka, 250 to Togo, 250 to Tunisia, 500 to Yemen. Yetim Foundation will put a smile on children’s faces in other countries with stationary based aid worth million 112 thousand Turkish Liras.
