Nazr is a term that refers to something that a person considers themselves obliged to perform in Islam. It is defined in Islamic law as "a promise made to Allah(S.W.T) by a person to perform a duty that is not obligatory, such as a voluntary or supererogatory act of worship."
Nazr Qurbani sacrifice is an act of worship that can be performed at any time and is obligatory on the person who vows to do so. It can be performed by the person themselves or through someone else as a proxy.
