We attach importance to the 15th of Ramadan World Orphans Day and try to remind and bring this special day to the agenda in many media. One of these is the 15th of Ramadan reports that we have been preparing regularly for the last three years. This year, we prepared the report titled “Being a Child in Palestine” in order to draw attention to the genocide that has been continuing in Palestine since October 17, 2023 and to contribute to the accurate recording of this genocide.
When we consider that Zionists have published 5 thousand books claiming that they have rights in Palestine and how they have tried to create a ground for memory by writing this in 75 years, it will be better understood how valuable such reports and other works that write about the Palestinian issue are.
Palestine belongs to the Palestinians both before and after the Jewish occupation. We can consider Jewish claims and publications that have no basis in fact as distorting historical facts. In this sense, “Palestine” is a cause rather than a country name for us. It is a touchstone on which we strike our faith, an exam paper on which we measure our sacrifice and sincerity, a glass lamp whose fuse we light with our loyalty.
This report is a table that tries to show the effects of the genocides, destructions and savagery committed by Israel in Palestine on children and how it has turned their world into hell. At the same time, the purpose of this report is to show the fact that the Israeli massacre, which caused the deaths of 14,000 children in 5 months, is much more than the number of children who have lost their lives in the wars that have broken out in the last four years worldwide. This report is the voice of the Palestinian people, who are surrounded by air, land and sea and subjected to inhuman attacks, the screams of the children there, the wails of the mothers who have lost their children.
