Aqiqa is the sacrifice that is performed to express gratitude to Allah (S.W.T) for the birth of a newborn. According to the majority of Islamic scholars, the Aqiqah sacrifice can be either a sheep, cow or camel. It can be performed by the person themselves or by appointing someone else to do it on their behalf.

As Orphan Foundation, we deliver your Aqiqah sacrifices to orphaned, abandoned, lost, and refugee children who have not received any love or compassion from their families, and therefore, we consider them socially orphaned. Our goal is to reach all orphans, even in the most remote and inaccessible villages, to provide them with the same living conditions as other children and to lighten their burdens as much as we can, for as long as we can.

The provinces we will reach include Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Elazığ, Şanlıurfa, as well as cities such as Istanbul and Ankara, where earthquake casulties have settled, whose homes have been destroyed and whoo had to scatter across Turkey.
