Babıska Social Service Center Project

We put Babıska Social Service Center into service to provide the necessary psychosocial support for Syrian orphan mothers and orphaned children to be strong, healthy and knowledgeable individuals in all areas of society.

 

Objectives of the Project

  • To carry out psychosocial support activities for Syrian orphan children and their mothers and to treat the psychological disorders observed in orphans and their mothers at the end of the process,
  • To organize child-mother training seminars and to raise the awareness level of mothers,
  • To organize educational seminars for psychology students, psychologists and volunteer team, to improve their professional skills and to ensure that volunteers have a better quality process with orphans and their mothers,
  • To organize vocational courses for the mothers of orphan children, contributing to their learning of a profession, benefiting from occupational therapy and earning financial income from the products they have made,
  • To increase the productivity of orphan children and their mothers by providing art therapy services and to contribute to their recovery,
  • To learn the legal rights and restrictions of families by experts in the field of law and to contribute to the prevention of possible problems,
  • To bring together volunteers and orphans who can be good examples to orphans by establishing a system of voluntary elder brotherhood and sisterhood, and to ensure that they have healthy, moral and devoted people who they can trust and love in solving potential problems and sharing their pleasant moments in life.
