When was the Yetim Foundation established?

The Yetim Foundation was established on 15.03.2017 with the verdict of the 17th Civil Court of First Instance of Istanbul Basis No. 2016/500 and Decision No. 2017/169.

 

What is the objectives of the Yetim Foundation?

a- To deliver all necessary humanitarian aid to the orphans and orphans in need in the world, regardless of religion, language, race, gender or similar discrimination,

b- To create an environment that will contribute to the development of orphans in a loving and compassionate environment, in a way that will serve the healthy and peaceful existence of the society, and in the integrity of their mental and physical health,

c- To carry out research to determine the causes of orphanhood and to eliminate these causes, to carry out activities to increase public awareness on these issues and to draw up reports in related fields,

d- To carry out social awareness-raising activities for “social orphans” who are technically not orphans but who are inadequately fed and live in poor housing conditions, and who lack the love and attention of their parents, and to provide the necessary support to these social orphans.

Do you have an Aid Collection Permission?

The Foundation receives annual permission for aid collection activities within the scope of the Aid Collection Law, and with the approval of the Republic of Turkey Istanbul Governorship dated 05.11.2020 and numbered 111447. The Foundation has permission to collect aid for one year between "05.11.2021- 04.11.2020" throughout Turkey.

How much does the Yetim Foundation deduct for its administrative expenses?

As the Yetim Foundation Board of Directors, our decision regarding the administrative deductions necessary for the maintenance of our foundation is as follows:

• Administrative deductions are not made from the Turkey section of our Orphan Sponsorship/Protection project.

• An administrative deduction of 5% is made for our overseas Sponsorship/Protection activities.

• No administrative deductions are made from the charity and alms donations we accept during Ramadan.

• The rate of deduction made from all our other projects and activities is determined as 15%.
